Hyphenated American is an exploration of our ethnic identity and cultural duality, or the lack of one. It is about adapting to a new culture while holding onto our roots. It embraces a way to thrive and create while living in a space that is constantly shifting or intertwining identities and stereotypes—who we are, who we are not, or who we can become. Our aim is to share our experience. Collaborated with Lulubi Garcia, Maricruz Meza, Maribel Barcena, and Carina Huynh.
